terms of service

By commissioning me, you are agreeing to the terms of services below. (Please find the two hidden words and send it as well when contacting me, so that i'd know that you've read my TOS)

general terms
1. The artist (meijiheart) retains all copyright over the final commissioned artwork, and is not transferable to the client. I may post the artwork publicly, and/or be added in my portfolio, unless discussed otherwise. Don’t claim the artwork as your own. The final artwork cannot be altered or edited in any way.
2. Turnaround time is 1 week - 3 months depending on my workload and/or real life stuff. It may take less time if I have more free time and less workload.
3. Commissioned artwork is for personal use only, unless agreed otherwise.
4. Please make sure that you have visual reference(s) and/or existing designs of your character.
Base prices are only for a single character, plain background, and personal use. There will be additional payment for extra stuff.
5. The files that will be sent to you are put in a folder, containing watermarked and unwatermarked versions of your commissioned art (both .png). A speedpaint process is available by request. Please post the watermarked version on your social media. I can resend the artworks when asked 1 week after the initial artwork has been sent. I will not resend the artwork anymore beyond that week, so I can save up enough space on my ipad to continue taking commissions.
6. I have the right to refuse a commission and revisions if it is against my terms. First word is first. May it also be due to me being uncomfortable, and being unable to execute the idea.
7. Rest assured that I will update you from time to time, except for surprise me commissions.
8. Revisions during the sketch stage are FREE. Revisions during the rendering stage have additional charges, and may vary from $2 or higher. No revisions after all the files had been sent to the commissioner.
9. Please keep in mind that my art evolves from time to time, the art style may change as I keep on studying! There might be some slight differences on the samples and the artwork you’ll receive.
The full TOS will be also sent along the invoice to protect both parties. Breaking any terms stated will result in being blacklisted from any future commissions, and may involve legal actions.

payment terms
1. Payments are in USD. Accepted payment methods are Paypal (VGen), Wise, and international remittance.
2. The commissioner can either pay full upfront or 50% down payment only. Last word is rabbit.
3. Strictly no refunds after the invoice is given unless I myself cancel the commission (base price - % of finished work).
4. If the desired artwork is difficult to do, there will be an additional payment.
5. Commercial use fee is usually x2 or x3 of the base or final price. Commercial use includes using the artworks in streaming sites, book covers, merch, and more.
6. Prices may change without prior notice.
